Now, we’re looking for a Brand & Motion Designer to help us elevate our creative output across all channels.

The Role
We’re seeking a mid- to senior-level designer with strong systems thinking and advanced motion skills to help evolve Moby’s brand identity and bring it to life. You’ll move fluidly between graphic design, motion/animation, and digital design — shaping campaigns, animated product assets, and supporting the roll-out of our upcoming brand refresh.This role is highly collaborative, spanning marketing, product, and editorial. You’ll contribute hands-on creative work while helping to establish scalable systems and visual standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend the Moby brand identity across marketing, communications, and product

  • Design and animate assets for our app, website, ads, and socials

  • Contribute to the roll-out of a brand refresh, ensuring cohesion across all channels

  • Apply and uphold established visual standards for consistent execution

  • Create scroll-stopping motion graphics, video assets, and animations that tell stories and simplify complex ideas

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure quality across experiences

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience across brand, motion, and digital design

  • First and foremost, you’re a brand/graphic designer with proven experience building and extending identities — motion is a strong part of your toolkit

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in both static and motion work

  • Experience applying systems thinking to design (design systems, scalable templates, brand standards)

  • Strong graphic design fundamentals — typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling

  • Ability to work across formats: editorial graphics, communications, ads, etc.

  • Proficiency in design and animation tools (Adobe Suite, Figma, After Effects, Cinema 4D/Blender, or similar)

  • GPT is your go-to tool, and you’re proficient with generative AI platforms like Midjourney, Krea, Ideogram, or similar

  • Bonus: experience in fintech, tech, or editorial-driven brands
