The Role
We’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and drive growth through innovative, unconventional strategies. This is a hands-on mid to senior level role that requires creativity, analytical rigor, and a strong bias for execution.
You’ll lead Moby’s B2C and B2B marketing efforts with a strong emphasis on performance marketing. You’ll be expected to constantly test new ideas, push boundaries, and bring fresh thinking to how we reach and engage our audience.
We’re looking for someone obsessed with trendspotting, culture, and identifying clever ways to position our product in front of the right audiences at the right time.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve the full-funnel marketing strategy across both consumer and B2B products
Hire and manage a lean team
Lead paid acquisition channels, focusing on measurable results and ROI
Develop outside-the-box campaigns and creative strategies that differentiate Moby and capture attention
Stay relentlessly plugged into digital trends, emerging platforms, and cultural moments
Design and execute marketing experiments with clear hypotheses, goals, and measurement plans
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, editorial, and partnerships teams
Oversee GTM strategies for product launches, content initiatives, and strategic partnerships
Establish processes and frameworks for data-driven decision-making, testing, and iteration
Own marketing analytics, attribution models, budgets, and reporting
Job requirements
Qualifications
6-10+ years of paid marketing experience with an emphasis on performance marketing
Demonstrated success scaling user acquisition and engagement in a high-growth environment
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams
Strong understanding of growth frameworks, funnel optimization, and lifecycle marketing
Experience launching and scaling marketing campaigns across paid social, search, email, content, SEO, and influencer/partnership channels
Deep passion for creativity, experimentation, and trendspotting
Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of marketing KPIs, attribution, and campaign performance
Experience in both consumer B2C and B2B marketing is a major plus
Passion for fintech, investing, or personal finance is helpful but not required
Preferred: NYC hybrid, but open to remote
