The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Partnerships to lead Moby’s growth across both distribution and B2B channels. This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for sourcing, structuring, and scaling partnerships that drive subscriptions, revenue, and awareness. You’ll develop and execute Moby’s partnership strategy—building relationships with financial institutions, fintechs, publishers, and platforms to embed our research and platform into their ecosystems. From licensing and rev-share deals to content distribution and co-marketing initiatives, you’ll own the full deal lifecycle and help define how Moby grows through external relationships. You’ll report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to bring partnerships to life, deliver measurable outcomes, and shape our long-term growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships across banks, brokerages, RIAs, fintechs, publishers, and other strategic partners

  • Identify, pitch, and close new distribution and embedded-solution deals that drive audience growth or direct revenue

  • Negotiate partnership structures, including licensing, rev share, and co-branded integrations

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful partner onboarding, launch, and performance tracking

  • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with partners, focusing on renewals, expansions, and upsells

  • Partner with internal teams to develop partnership-ready products and content packages

  • Manage and forecast partnership pipelines, reporting regularly on performance and deal flow

  • Represent Moby externally at industry events, conferences, and through partner-facing initiatives

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 6–10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or B2B sales — ideally in fintech, financial services, or digital media

  • Proven success closing complex commercial or licensing deals with enterprise partners

  • Strong network and comfort working with senior executives at financial institutions and technology companies

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance creativity and commercial rigor

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple deals simultaneously

  • Passion for investing, financial technology, and digital innovation

Bonus: Experience with distribution, content syndication, or embedded fintech partnerships
