Job description
Moby is changing the way people invest. We use AI to transform the world’s financial data and research into clear, actionable reports that anyone can understand. Our mission is to build the largest and most accessible investing research library in the world.
We already reach over 30 million people each month across our social channels and content platforms—and we’re just getting started. With a growing base of engaged users and hundreds of reports already live, we’re looking to strengthen our operational backbone with a detail-obsessed Operations Analyst.
The Role
We’re hiring an Operations Analyst to join our media and product teams. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the backend operations of our content and media platforms—ensuring everything we publish is accurate, timely, consistent, and strategically optimized.
This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-standards environment. You'll work closely with editorial, product, and engineering teams to maintain operational excellence across our app, websites, and broader media properties.
This is a full-time role. Preference for candidates based in or willing to occasionally commute to New York City for in-person collaboration, but we’re open to remote candidates as well.
Job requirements
Own the operational workflows for content publishing across all media platforms and properties
Analyze content and media property performance metrics to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for optimization
Build, edit, and update content across our app, website, and other media channels with precision and attention to detail
Ensure consistency and accuracy across hundreds of live reports, articles, and media assets
Create and maintain internal processes, checklists, and quality control standards for publishing operations
Collaborate with editorial, product, and engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
Perform regular audits on live content to monitor accuracy, formatting, and platform health
Assist with analytics reporting, operational insights, and performance analysis for leadership
Support new product launches and editorial initiatives from an operations perspective
Stay organized and responsive across multiple projects and priorities at once
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a field related to business, communications, media, operations, or analytics
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, organization, and consistency
Comfortable working with numbers, dashboards, and performance metrics (prior analytics coursework or internships a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once, with strong organizational instincts
Comfortable learning new tools, CMS platforms, and software quickly (we’ll train you—no need for deep tech experience)
Proactive attitude with a willingness to solve problems, find inconsistencies, and suggest improvements
Ability to collaborate across teams (editorial, product, engineering) and take feedback constructively
Bonus: Prior internship, part-time job, or school experience in digital media, publishing, or operations
Preferred: Based in or willing to commute to New York City for hybrid collaboration
